The fit-check answers stay in the page’s memory and can be downloaded as a text brief. They are not submitted to us. This page does not access your microphone. Fonts, illustrations and video are served from the same website; there are no embedded social-media players, advertising pixels or analytics SDKs in the inspected site code. The hosting service may process request metadata such as IP addresses; Vercel is the selected website host; final log retention is still being confirmed.
Account and saved preferences
The account page is being connected to Supabase Auth and Postgres. Signing in shares your email with the configured Supabase project and stores a login session in this browser. Meeting preference names, language selections and setup types are saved to your account; access is restricted by database row-level security. You can delete saved preferences in the workspace. This does not delete your authentication account or provider logs; account deletion and final retention terms still need an operational process. No recordings or voiceprints are saved by this account feature.
The separate translation prototype
When you start a session and grant microphone access, audio is sent to the cloud for processing. The current code uses Modal for application/GPU hosting and Soniox for speech recognition and translation, with Qwen speech generation. Source and translated text are displayed in the app. Optional speaker-specific voice matching uses captured speech and requires the speaker’s permission. Turning matching off, resetting or ending the connection clears the session’s matching state in application code; this does not prove deletion from provider logs or backups.
The app stores settings, speaker labels, a client identifier and accumulated usage time in your browser. The cloud usage store records client identifiers, session timestamps and duration. An identifier is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. No automatic retention/deletion schedule was found for that cloud usage store. A deletion workflow and provider retention checks are required before launch.
Purposes and information still to confirm
The intended purposes are delivering requested translation, optional voice matching, operational reliability and usage accounting. Before processing customer data, the operator must document the legal basis for each purpose, provider roles and contracts, processing locations, international transfer safeguards where needed, retention periods and the process for handling requests. No claim of EU-only processing or “zero retention” is made.
Your requests
Depending on the applicable rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your data, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Turning off microphone access stops new capture; it does not itself erase existing server records. The public request address still needs to be configured below.
Service terms draft
VocalSpan is an early-access translation prototype for professional evaluation. Translation, speaker attribution and voice matching can be wrong or delayed. Check material decisions against the original conversation. Do not present generated speech as an original recording or use another person’s voice without permission.
Use only audio you are permitted to process, inform participants of cloud processing, and obtain the permissions required for your use. Meeting-platform routing, shared multilingual sessions and future team/organisation packages must not be treated as available merely because they appear in a concept illustration.
The marketing fit check is not a booking, waitlist registration or contract. The account feature saves meeting preferences. There is no checkout or automatic subscription charge on this website. The app’s usage-cost display is an engineering estimate, not a customer invoice or agreed tariff.
Before a paid pilot, the operator must agree the supported workflow and language direction, participant limit, price and currency, taxes, included usage, extra usage rules, start date, cancellation/remedy terms and support contact. Terms governing liability, disputes and jurisdiction remain to be reviewed for the actual business and customer locations. Nothing here removes mandatory customer rights.
Teaching and children
Teaching is exploratory, not an approved children’s service. Do not collect children’s audio through this prototype without a separately reviewed institutional arrangement, appropriate notices and any required authorisation. No unnecessary date-of-birth collection or cosmetic age checkbox has been added.
Cancellation & refund information draft
No purchase or payment is possible on this marketing preview, so it cannot issue a refund. The $149 / 30-day guided pilot is a proposal, with four translated listener-hours and no automatic renewal. One listener receiving translation for one hour uses one listener-hour.
A binding cancellation/refund policy has not yet been selected. Do not collect payment until the service scope, cancellation contact, timing and remedy for non-delivery are agreed and disclosed. Do not substitute a blanket “no refunds” statement for applicable rights.
EU consumer distance-service contracts generally carry a 14-day withdrawal period, subject to the relevant rules and exceptions. An early start may require specific requests and disclosures; business contracts and consumer contracts must be assessed separately. Final wording requires the operator’s country and sales model.
